The Intriga Estate lies over millenary alluvial soils planted with vines that average 30 years. Hand-harvested between April 10th – May 17th, 2012 with total skin contact for 28 days. Aged 100% in French barrels, 25% new and 75% second use, during 21 months. The wine was bottled without filtering.TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby red with purple notes in color, with herbal and fruity aromas that blend together well giving it a delicate, elegant nose. Its flavors are of fine and tense texture with soft, round tannins. A nice mixture of fat and grip. Because of itd structure and power, it pairs well with marbled red meats, fine cheeses, duck confit, and lamb.
