Grapes are hand-harvested at the end of March, with fermentation taking place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Total skin contact for 16 days. After the maceration period, 40% of the wine is aged for eight months in French and American (80/20) oak barrels.TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby red with violet undertones color. Expressive aromas of plums and cherries, vanilla, cedar and a touch of mint. Ripe plum flavors mingle with deep, dark fruit flavors. A touch of mint and toasty oak give this wine an elegant and charming finish. Goes great with pasta, meat, grilled vegetables, fish with creamy sauces, rice dishes, and semi-hard cheeses.
