Chile’s Colchagua Valley between the Coastal Range and the Andes, contains soil that is rich in clay, strewn with rocks and stones. Syrah grapes are selected and handpicked at the end of April, Cabernet Sauvignon was selected the first week in May. Cold soak lasts approximately four days, with a hot maceration that is done for an average of 30 days. Barrell aged in French oak for 21 months. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered.TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby red color. Complex ripe black and blue berries, with a touch of leather, clove and cedar. Ripe black fruit lead the way to a balanced palate with a warm and juicy character. Ripe tannins give some density, a round texture with a lingering and elegant finish Complements red meats, poultry, pork and hard cheeses.
